Rochester Musical Theatre Academy is excited to offer a FREE seminar for high school students (and their parents) who are thinking of going to college for Theatre, Music, Dance, or Film/TV Production. Sandy Nagar, an Independent Educational Consultant specializing in Performing Arts (and RMTA’s Acting instructor) will be presenting an overview of the complex and layered process of searching for, applying to, and auditioning/interviewing for college and university Performing Arts programs. This informative FREE seminar will touch on topics such as types of training programs, degree options, the audition process, and application/audition timelines. Having been a Theatre Educator, Artist, and Administrator for over 30 years, Sandy Nagar has successfully assisted numerous students in finding and gaining acceptance to the college Performing Arts programs that best fit their educational and career interests and goals. His company, Sandy Nagar Studio (www.sandynagarstudio.com), provides Performing Arts College Consulting services, and we are so excited to have him share his expertise with the RMTA community!
